I have it mounted to my helmet and is plenty bright enough for night city riding. I like it because the operation is simple, very lightweight, and charging simple with a micro-usb or AAA batteries. I like the usb charging.

Overall, i'm very happy with the lamp yes, I recommend this product. Turning it off and on multiple times. Worked like a champ on morning hike I did. 4 out of 5 stars.

I thought read the thoroughly yes, recommend this product. Love the battery pack option. I've owned dinky headlamps from home depot and such the amount of illumination Petzl was far better. Go with the regular 300 one, I haven't changed batteries in those for a couple months an use it all time.
