These are still usable if you wrap a rubber band around the battery box and lamp can in an x pattern. Also included are 3 battery end caps that have the plastic catch broken off. These are just extra parts I had and am including them with the headlamp. Water-proof as per Princeton Tec specifications.
Also included are 2 extra rubber o rings and battery box conductors. Quick, easy battery replacement. Princeton Tec states this lamp is waterproof and so I include that information, however, do not guarantee any degree of waterproofing light. The base has printed on it solo but uses same as matrix ii.
Soft, comfortable, fully-adjustable, three-piece elastic head strap. Uses two aa batteries. Fixed-focus reflector with textured surface. Front-mounted battery pack eliminates exterior cable and reduces bulk.
That said it does look to be very water tight. Led provides both high brightness and extended run time. This headlamp comes complete with a good battery end cap and head strap.
